“Nice scarf!”

Like the weather, scarves make an excellent topic for social talk. In the Fulardo survey of last winter, one out of five participants added some  additional input. Here’s an anthology of the reactions …

Colour

“Scarves for an autumn type, warm colours … you do not easily find those colours when shopping.”

“When buying a scarf I look especially at the colour – I prefer coloured scarves e.g. red, purple, orange and mixed colours. I love scarves with earth colours. ”

“I love natural colours such as taupe/beige, black/gray, crimson, red/orange.”

Function

“I have a lot of scarves so I can combine all my clothes with a scarf. I often wear monochrome basics; a scarf really adds something and I always look different. I also combine my scarves with striking jewellery. ”

“An additional accent, a chance to vary. ”

“I often wear my scarf with a brooch.”

“Scarves give an extra cachet.”

“A beautiful scarf is the ideal accessory that gives a finished, up-to-date look.”

“They can make the picture complete, just like a necklace, handbag and shoes do.”

“I do not feel completely dressed without a scarf. To me, it is an important attribute, more important than jewellerry. ”

“I love scarves. They have different features: they provide you with extra warmth, they add an extra touch to your look. It’s nice to spray some perfume on your scarf to guard against bad odours around you :-). They also make sure that the collar of your leather vest does not get dirty.”

How to wear

“I would like to wear more scarves but I do not know how to make the right combinations.”

“A workshop scarves-knotting would be a nice idea.”

“I like scarves, I only have too little inspiration. That’s why I wear them in a very simple way around my neck. I’m sure I can do better. ”

And last but not least: emotions

“A scarf gives me a sense of security and safety.”

“I usually buy scarves on vacation or on a trip. Beautiful colours, nice fabrics, and above all: the memory of the place or the circumstances. ”

“A passion for scarves !”

“I am crazy about scarves.”

So are we 🙂
